Freedom Primary School needs a playground - Kimani's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Kasarani are raising $650 for a playground at Freedom Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 498 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
