Freedom Primary School needs a community garden - Hassan's neighborhood project

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $600. It will serve about 158 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $600 goes: • Permits and inspections: $120 • Tools hire and delivery: $200 • Safety equipment and signage: $280 Thanks for being kind about this. - Hassan
