Freedom Park needs a community fridge - Ravi's neighborhood project

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Park, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 380 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $160 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $75 • Tools hire and delivery: $40 Thanks for being kind about this. - Ravi
