My daughter, Thanh, is 17 and in Year 10. Thanh loves school but French has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The SAT exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Cần Thơ or online, for about twenty weeks.
Thanh is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in French, you could change the course of Thanh's year.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Praying for you, Thủy. Hope you get there. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from San Jose.
