My daughter, Nevaeh, is 13 and in Form 3. Nevaeh loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The national exam is in September.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Birmingham or online, for about ten weeks.
Nevaeh is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Nevaeh's year.
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong, Axel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Birmingham
Good luck, Axel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Hang in there, Axel. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
