Frankfurt flood relief - the Millbrook district
The flood damaged 16 homes in the Millbrook district. We are raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The flood hit the Millbrook district on 10 May. My home was one of 16 damaged, and 13 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,050
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,950
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,250
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

best of luck, Nadine. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Padua.
This could happen to any of us. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Makati.

take care, Nadine. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
Rooting for you, Nadine. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Frankfurt.
