Folake needs a soldering station and testing tools to reopen a phone repair counter
A phone repair counter in Lagos needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after floodwater.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria725 views
For fifteen years I have run a phone repair counter in Lagos. In May, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $200
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $60
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Working capital for the first month: $45
If you're reading this, thank you.

Take care. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Raleigh.
