Tel Aviv
The flood hit Riverside village on 15 May. My home was one of 63 damaged, and 7 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym. The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming. Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before. We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy. We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates. Where the $6,050 goes: • Roofing sheets and timber: $1,850 • Clean water and purification supplies: $690 • Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $820 • Food parcels for displaced families: $1,300 • Tools and labor for repairs: $1,390 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

wishing you peace. More neighborhoods should do this. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.

what exactly is the $6,050 for?

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. roofing sheets and timber comes first ($1,850) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
