The flood hit the Greenfield district on 28 August. My home was one of 75 damaged, and 3 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym. The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming. Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before. We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy. We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates. Where the $4,500 goes: • Roofing sheets and timber: $1,550 • Clean water and purification supplies: $400 • Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $520 • Food parcels for displaced families: $490 • Tools and labor for repairs: $1,540 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Brigitte?

Thank you. If you're in Saint-Denis I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
