Flood in Malang: help the Millbrook neighborhood rebuild
The flood damaged 49 homes in the Millbrook neighborhood. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The flood hit the Millbrook neighborhood on 16 February. My home was one of 49 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $800 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $145
• Roofing sheets and timber: $360
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $125
• Food parcels for displaced families: $170
With deep gratitude,
Imam

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Imam
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. tools and labor for repairs comes first ($145) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for asking.
Sending love, Imam. I hope things turn around soon. All the best.
Rooting for you, Imam. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Denpasar.
