Flood in Khulna: help the Hillcrest settlement rebuild
After the flood, families in the Hillcrest settlement need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the Hillcrest settlement on 9 December. My home was one of 71 damaged, and 13 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $800 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $550
• Clean water and purification supplies: $55
• Tools and labor for repairs: $195

Sure. The biggest one is roofing sheets and timber, $550. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
