Flood in Dhaka: help the families of Millbrook Lane rebuild
After the flood, families in the families of Millbrook Lane need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the families of Millbrook Lane on 27 June. My home was one of 48 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $800 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $190
• Clean water and purification supplies: $95
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $125
• Food parcels for displaced families: $190
• Tools and labor for repairs: $200
Thanks for being kind about this.

Best of luck. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. God bless.
Keep going. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Badagry this morning.
