Finn's kidney failure: help with the vet bill
A rescue greyhound named Finn needs emergency surgery - a $450 bill the family can't cover.
🇬🇭 Takoradi, Western, Ghana219 views
Finn is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 26 September we rushed to Takoradi Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Finn, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Finn is more than a pet - Finn got me through my hardest year. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Takoradi Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $250
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $130
• Medication and follow-up visits: $35
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thank you all. We're at 8% now ($35). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts.
Quick update: $75 raised so far (17%). I made the first payment toward emergency surgery. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

Sending love, Theophilus. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings
