Santa Rosa
Mercy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Santa Rosa University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Mercy is 57, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Santa Rosa University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $700 goes: • Transport to Santa Rosa University Hospital: $170 • Scans and lab work: $195 • Household costs while unable to work: $335 Thanks for being kind about this.

good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Jeddah.
