Fighting thyroid cancer: help Ingrid afford treatment in Munich
Ingrid is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ingrid was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May. The oncology team at Munich Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Ingrid is 47, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Munich Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $6,000 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,850
• Scans and lab work: $580
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,100
• Transport to Munich Cancer Centre: $470
