Fighting thyroid cancer: help Gabriel afford treatment in Montgomery
Gabriel is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Gabriel was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in April. The oncology team at the Montgomery Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Gabriel is 50, worked as a farmer until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Montgomery Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $11,300 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,300
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,000
• Scans and lab work: $1,800
• Transport to the Montgomery Oncology Institute: $1,200
