Fighting thyroid cancer: help Eugene afford treatment in Dundee
Eugene is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Eugene was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at Dundee Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Eugene is 42, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dundee Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530
• Household costs while unable to work: $880
• Scans and lab work: $790
