Fighting thyroid cancer: help Aarav afford treatment in Southampton
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Southampton University Hospital; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Aarav was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in September. The oncology team at Southampton University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Aarav is 26, worked as a tailor until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Southampton University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $250
• Transport to Southampton University Hospital: $410
• Household costs while unable to work: $990
