Dimas was diagnosed with stomach cancer in February. The oncology team at Jakarta Selatan Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Dimas is 38, worked as a bank teller until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jakarta Selatan Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
