Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Kylie afford treatment in Auckland

Kylie was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Auckland University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Kylie is 50, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Auckland University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $1,850
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,720
