Sohel was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Cox's Bazar Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Sohel is 55, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cox's Bazar Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
