Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Satish afford treatment in Rohini
Satish is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇮🇳 India1,201 views
In August I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. My oncology team at Rohini University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 5 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 40, I worked as a bus conductor until August, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Rohini University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $350 goes:
• Transport to Rohini University Hospital: $145
• Scans and lab work: $120
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
Every share and every dollar helps.

Is transport to Rohini University Hospital the biggest cost or is there more coming?
Sure. The biggest one is transport to Rohini University Hospital, $145. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
Hang in there, Satish. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Kharkiv
