Sacramento
Madeline was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Sacramento Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Madeline is 25, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Sacramento Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $2,400 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $380 • Transport to Sacramento Regional Medical Center: $1,200 • Scans and lab work: $820 I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Rylee

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($1,333 in total) I met with the treatment center and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 44% now ($1,058). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.

  3. Quick update: $465 raised so far (19%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
