Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Axel afford treatment in Sydney
4 rounds of treatment are planned at the Sydney Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Axel was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March. The oncology team at the Sydney Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Axel is 28, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Sydney Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,450 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,050
• Scans and lab work: $1,150
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250
