Fighting prostate cancer: help Vandana afford treatment in Nashik

Vandana was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at the Nashik Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Vandana is 56, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Nashik Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
