Fighting prostate cancer: help Samina afford treatment in Multan
Supporting Samina through prostate cancer: medication, transport to Multan Regional Medical Center, and living costs while She can't work.
🇵🇰 Punjab, Pakistan142 views
Samina was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March. The oncology team at Multan Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Samina is 48, worked as a construction supervisor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Multan Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $950
• Scans and lab work: $120
• Transport to Multan Regional Medical Center: $105
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65
• Household costs while unable to work: $210
With deep gratitude,
Omer

Sending strength, Omer. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I hope July is when things finally get easier.
