Fighting prostate cancer: help Ruma afford treatment in Savar

Ruma was diagnosed with prostate cancer in June. The oncology team at the Savar Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Ruma is 24, worked as a bus conductor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Savar Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $500 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $40
• Scans and lab work: $145
• Household costs while unable to work: $210
• Transport to the Savar Oncology Institute: $105
