Patricia was diagnosed with prostate cancer in June. The oncology team at Santa Fe Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Patricia is 52, worked as a bakery worker until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Santa Fe Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
