Fighting prostate cancer: help Marlene afford treatment in Leipzig
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Leipzig Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Marlene was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September. The oncology team at Leipzig Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Marlene is 47, worked as a bakery worker until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Leipzig Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
