Fighting prostate cancer: help Andi afford treatment in Kediri
Supporting Andi through prostate cancer: medication, transport to Kediri Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
🇮🇩 Indonesia636 views
Andi was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. The oncology team at Kediri Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Andi is 37, worked as a taxi driver until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kediri Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $950 goes:
• Transport to Kediri Cancer Centre: $70
• Scans and lab work: $210
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $670
I hope life is good to you.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Andi.
It's all in the list in the story. transport to Kediri Cancer Centre is the big one at $70, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Best of luck, Okta. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care
Sending good thoughts. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Love from Lansing.
Hang in there, Okta. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
