Ahmed was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. The oncology team at Casablanca Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Ahmed is 34, worked as a bank teller until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Casablanca Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $950 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $550 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60 • Household costs while unable to work: $180 • Transport to Casablanca Regional Medical Center: $160 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
