Fighting prostate cancer: help Abdullah afford treatment in Cairo
Abdullah is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Abdullah was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at Cairo Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Abdullah is 24, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cairo Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $900
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105
• Household costs while unable to work: $280
• Scans and lab work: $165
