Fighting non-Hodgkin lymphoma: help Isabel afford treatment in San Antonio
Isabel is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Isabel was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in April. The oncology team at San Antonio Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Isabel is 52, worked as a primary school teacher until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Antonio Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,850 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,200
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,900
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $750
