Hyun-jun was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at Seongnam Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Hyun-jun is 49, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Seongnam Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
