Fighting non-Hodgkin lymphoma: help Élodie afford treatment in Lyon
Élodie is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇫🇷 France857 views
Élodie was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in December. The oncology team at Lyon University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Élodie is 48, worked as a taxi driver until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lyon University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $8,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,500
• Scans and lab work: $690
• Transport to Lyon University Hospital: $650
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,330
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Praying for you, Nicolas. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Birmingham but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
