Dipika was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at the Mumbai Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Dipika is 27, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mumbai Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
