10 rounds of treatment are planned at Bergamo Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Davide was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Bergamo Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Davide is 43, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bergamo Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $5,550 goes: • Transport to Bergamo Cancer Centre: $330 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,300 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,920 Thank you for reading my story. - Federica

  • Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
