Anders was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in December. The oncology team at Stockholm Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Anders is 30, worked as a nurse until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Stockholm Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $10,000 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,500 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $340 • Scans and lab work: $830 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,330 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
