Alexa is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Alexa was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in May. The oncology team at Toledo University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Alexa is 30, worked as a bus conductor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Toledo University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $1,600
• Transport to Toledo University Hospital: $680
