Theo is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Theo was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at Berlin Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Theo is 51, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Berlin Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,700 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $2,050 • Transport to Berlin Cancer Centre: $570 • Scans and lab work: $1,080 Thanks for being kind about this.
