Fighting multiple myeloma: help Kreesan afford treatment in Richards Bay
Kreesan is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In June I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. My oncology team at the Richards Bay Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 7 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 42, I worked as a bank teller until June, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Richards Bay Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Transport to the Richards Bay Oncology Institute: $115
• Scans and lab work: $185
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $200
