Isabel was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in January. The oncology team at the Lapu-Lapu Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Isabel is 41, worked as a primary school teacher until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Lapu-Lapu Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $500 goes: • Scans and lab work: $140 • Household costs while unable to work: $195 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $165 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  2. Quick update: $35 raised so far (7%). the plan for nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($25 in total) the plan for household costs while unable to work is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
