Fighting multiple myeloma: help Basma afford treatment in Mansoura
Supporting Basma through multiple myeloma: medication, transport to Mansoura Regional Medical Center, and living costs while She can't work.

In February I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. My oncology team at Mansoura Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in June. I was told to expect about 7 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 38, I worked as a tailor until February, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Mansoura Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $550 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $270
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $145
• Household costs while unable to work: $135
I hope life is good to you.
