Aravind is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Vadodara
Aravind was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at Vadodara University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Aravind is 40, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Vadodara University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $550 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $270 • Scans and lab work: $165 • Transport to Vadodara University Hospital: $115 Thanks for reading all this. - Sathish

  • Keep going, Sathish. I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Coyoacán.
