Patrick is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Patrick was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March. The oncology team at Manchester Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Patrick is 39, worked as a nurse until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Manchester Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $10,450 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750 • Scans and lab work: $1,100 • Transport to Manchester Cancer Centre: $970 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $380 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,250 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Aiden
