Quetta
Omer was diagnosed with kidney cancer in July. The oncology team at Quetta University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Omer is 30, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Quetta University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $400 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45 • Household costs while unable to work: $280 • Scans and lab work: $75 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

    • Keep going, Fatima. Hope the doctors have good news. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
