Fighting kidney cancer: help Jasmine afford treatment in Bacoor
Jasmine is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Jasmine was diagnosed with kidney cancer in April. The oncology team at Bacoor Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Jasmine is 27, worked as a bank teller until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bacoor Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $850
• Scans and lab work: $120
• Transport to Bacoor Cancer Centre: $130
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55
• Household costs while unable to work: $345
