Fighting kidney cancer: help Danielle afford treatment in San Diego
Danielle is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Danielle was diagnosed with kidney cancer in April. The oncology team at San Diego Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Danielle is 49, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Diego Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,850 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,600
• Scans and lab work: $1,200
• Transport to San Diego Cancer Centre: $910
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $290
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,850
