In May I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. My oncology team at the Boulogne-Billancourt Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in August. I was told to expect about 4 weeks away from work. I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 27, I worked as a nurse until May, and I have been the main earner for my household. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Boulogne-Billancourt Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly. My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,700 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $500 • Transport to the Boulogne-Billancourt Oncology Institute: $630 • Scans and lab work: $570 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Patrick
