Leo was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in November. The oncology team at the Rochester Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Leo is 52, worked as a farmer until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Rochester Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $12,400 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,500 • Scans and lab work: $1,650 • Transport to the Rochester Oncology Institute: $880 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $770 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,600 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Faith
